At the July 10 Council meeting, the city Council delayed until July 31 a vote on funding a $10M contribution to USA which the Mayor requested.  (see al.com, 7-10-18) At the same meeting, Mr. Manzie announced that he has scheduled a meeting with his constituents in the Maysville community adjacent to Ladd to hear their input.  The meeting is scheduled for July 23, 6pm, at Williamson High School in Maysville.  Mr. Manzie stated the meeting is open to the public but that his priority for the meeting is to listen to the Maysville community's ideas and not have their voices "drowned out" by those from other neighborhoods.
